Neurology examines the anatomical and physiological characteristics of the nervous system and its disorders and clinical syndromes arising from various causes. Thanks to scientific developments, subdivisions of Neurology have also emerged. Good organisation of these departments facilitates the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases. Neurology department of our hospital provides outpatient and inpatient services for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of a wide range of neurological diseases.
In the Electrophysiology Laboratory of our department; EEG, EMG, evoked potential studies are also performed. In cases such as coma, progressive stroke, frequently recurring seizures that endanger the patient’s life, the follow-up and treatment of our patients are carried out with great care in the intensive care unit.
